Up there with one of the best fish and chips we’ve had for a long time. The fish was fresh tasting with a crispy and nice tasting batter. The chips were well cooked and no soggy ones. Delicious! It was busy when we went which is a great sign of good food and the service was good. Will be back again soon. This will be our go to place for fish and chips from now.

Excellent first experience of Skippers Sutton Coldfield. Friendly and attentive service by everyone, you could tell they all take pride in what they do. Fish freshly cooked and they even gave us 2 pieces of their speciality chicken with hot honey sauce to try on the house. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend and we'll definitely come back.

Went for lunch today, absolutely loved it. The portion size was great - really decent for the price but not overwhelmingly huge so I didn't feel like I wasted any food. The chips were hot and had a good amount of crunch and the chicken tenders were juicy and flavourful. I loved the hot honey sauce too. We also tried the deep fried Oreo's as a treat - they were delicious, very rich but also very moreish. I'd happily go there again and again , and try other things from the menu.

Had Fish and chips from here today. 1st time of using Skippers and shall certainly not be my last. The fish was so fresh and beautiful tasting. The chips were the same all freshly cooked to order. Shall definitely be going back. I had the Haddock and my partner had the Cod so very very tasty. Shop is also spotlessly clean. Sue .

Oh wow, it's fantastic to see this chip shop open again! I just had a delightful fish and chips – the batter was spot-on and the chips were very tasty. The staff were also wonderfully attentive. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the current owner's grandfather ran the chip shop I used to frequent in Small Heath back in the 70s. What a lovely family tradition!
